Qualcomm has recently announced it's new chip called Snapdragon 855, which is an octa-core processor and it is based on 7 nano-meter architecture. In 2019 all smartphone brands will be using this in their flagship phones. So here’s a general overview of what’s new on the Snapdragon 855 and how that could affect your next phone.
- Basic:- Like Apple and Huawei, Qualcomm also has made the jump into the 7 Neno meter architecture chip. Last year iPhone XS and mate 20pro were using it,
- Performance::-Qualcomm is claiming that there is 45% of general improvement as compared to last SD 845. graphic performance has improved by 20%. Qualcomm also touting that the chip will use less power,30% less power to be precise.
- 5G:-In many countries 5g is going to roll out soon and Qualcomm wouldn't miss offering support to all major cellular network but it's not necessary that every device based on SD855 will actually be 5g capable
