Basic: -This device is focused on the price, it has a plastic back and plastic chassis compare to original pixel 3 or pixel 3 xl, these devices have the glass back and metal chassis. They look nice they are more premium to hold but they are more expensive. A plastic phone is cheaper and it still can be awesome, they are durable the back of the phone doesn't shatter they are lighter they are less slippery and in order to get this phone to be as cheaper as possible Google is going to do a couple of other things to the pixel 3 light

SOC: -It is supposedly running cheaper a mid-tier SOC from Qualcomm Snapdragon 670(10NM). It is gonna be slower chip than SD845 its gonna have slow processing slower LTE speed but it is still fast 10NM chip. Most people unless you are going hard to the core on your phone like playing the mobile game frequently you probably won't notice too much of difference between SD845 and SD670in the pixel3 light.

Display and Speaker: - The display in pixel 3 and pixel 3XL are OLED panels and these are some of the best-looking screens google has ever put on any of their devices. The pixel 3 light is supposed to be running an LCD panel and there is nothing inherently wrong with LCDs, we've seen some really nice looking LCD's out there but they tend not to be as nice as OLED panel. There is also a difference in audio setup,so the original Pixel and Pixel 3XL both have stereo speakers,front-facing one that sound pretty good the cheaper pixel 3 light doesn't have stereo speakers it has mono speaker on the bottom but it has a headphone jack which is crazy this is the feature which was removed from the pixel phones last year and to see it come back in the cheaper version of the pixel its weird but its also nice I feel like they recognized the value of that port To a lot of people around the word soI like it. I don't know if it's gonna come back in future versions of pixel phones I am glad that they are making it into the cheaper version. I think people who are going to purchase that, are gonna appreciate that jack.

Camera: -There seems to be only one camera in front on the pixel 3 light. You'll probably lose the wide angle focal length and portrait mode for selfies. The rear camera is supposedly similar if not the same to original one and those were excellent cameras some of the sample photos from that looks legit since it is pixel device it's gonna use the google camera algorithm there is a very good chance that's gonna be shooting some really nice photos.

Conclusion: - So we have a device that has a good camera headphone jack good software it's got a lot going for it but the price point is where this thing leans very heavily on. If Google was very aggrieved with the pricing they prices out of like $400 or $450 they are gonna fly off the shelves. everyone loved it. I don't think they are gonna sell it for that it's gonna be $550 may be a little bit more. They have to compete with companies like one plus it's gonna be hard for this phone to be picked up on mass if it's not priced really well and because it's Google I don't think it will.
